WordPress Church Website + Premium Theme (Save $99.95) + Support

This ready-made WordPress website is suitable for a church, where you can connect with more people and present your activity and mission!

Additional functionalities can be added via plugins (e.g. Events).

Everything's Already Set Up

The WordPress church website already has everything installed, configured, and optimized:

  • WordPress;
  • Premium theme from StudioPress (save $99.95);
  • Plugins that handle security, SEO, optimization, performance, and other functionalities;
  • Design improvements.

The only thing remaining is to change several domain-specific features (e.g. titles, email) pointed out in my guide, and to replace the dummy content with your own content. I'll send you the guide once you've purchased the plan.

Premium Theme Included for Free (Save $99.95)

For this WordPress website, I used a premium theme called Outreach Pro. The theme is created by StudioPress, which is one of the best WordPress studios and the creators of the most-used framework, called Genesis Framework.

The theme is optimized and focused on performance, therefore it's not bloated with all sorts of features. Nevertheless, it has some design options that you can change, such as:

  • Background color;
  • Background image;
  • 4 color schemes: red, purple, orange. blue;
  • 6 different layouts;
  • Breadcrumbs display location;
  • and several more.

Since I purchased the theme, I'm the owner of the StudioPress account. So, you won't be able to access the account to download the theme and get support.

But as long as I'm offering on-going support, and as long as you use my services, you don't have to worry about that because I'll take care of it.

If, for whatever reason, we're no longer working together, you might need to buy the theme yourself to get the privileges that come with the account.

Optimization, Performance, SEO, Security, and Other Functionalities

Multiple plugins are installed and configured. The plugins handle things like spam, security, performance, SEO, and more!

  • Yoast SEO - optimizes your website for search engines (e.g. Google);
  • iThemes Security - secures your WordPress website;
  • W3 Total Cache - a caching plugin that improves your site's performance/loading time;
  • WP Smush - compresses your images automatically on upload to further improve the site's performance/loading time;
  • Native Lazyload - a plugin developed by Google, which loads the images as the user scrolls your page, not from the start when the page starts loading. This improves your WordPress site's performance/loading time, especially on the Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Android browsers where the loading="lazy" tag is a native feature, meaning that the browser will do the work, not your site;
  • WP User Avatar - removes the Gravatar feature from WordPress, replacing it with locally-uploaded avatars. This gets rid of the requests to Gravatar, improving your site's performance. Of course, It can be reversed by disabling the plugin;
  • WPForms Lite - a drag-and-drop form builder used for the Contact page;
  • WP Revisions Control - limits the number of revisions that WordPress saves in the database, preventing bloat;
  • Spam Destroyer - a very simple, yet very good anti-spam plugin;
  • UpdraftPlus - creates backups manually or automatically;
  • myStickymenu - makes the menu sticky, making it available to readers while they scroll up and down;
  • Genesis Responsive Slider - handles the slider on the homepage;
  • Simple Social Icons - adds social icons in your site's header.

Additional plugins can be added for other potentially necessary functionalities (e.g. Events, Subscribe Form, etc.).

Improvements and Fixes

Code modifications to:

  • enable featured images on single posts;
  • center align YouTube iframes;
  • adjust fonts (size, weight);
  • make default Gutenberg gallery full-width;
  • add a bottom margin to featured images in single posts;
  • add a bottom margin to columns on mobiles;
  • style the contact form button to match the site's color scheme.

What to Do in WordPress After the Church Website Cloning

After you purchase the plan, I'll send you a guide within 24h (during working days) on the email address you used to purchase the plan. The guide will show you how, where, and what you'll need to change after the website has been cloned to your domain.

Free Advanced On-going Support

I'm offering advanced on-going support for free, which includes:

  • Assistance (providing guidance, answering questions);
  • Adding extra functionalities via plugins;
  • Adding, editing, deleting pages within a reasonable amount. Content needs to be provided;
  • Contacting the theme developers if needed.

If you want on-going support, you need to give me your WordPress login info (username and password) so I can access your site and help you.

Or, you can create a new user with an Administrator role from your Dashboard > Users > Add User. Then, send me that log in info, so we can keep our accounts separate.

If you have questions, need help, or didn't receive the guide after purchasing the plan, don't hesitate to contact me at support@radu.link
