Freelance/Business Website + Premium Theme (Save $129.95) + Support

This ready-made WordPress website is suitable for freelancers (men or women) and businesses that want to present their knowledge, experience, services and even products because the theme has support for eCommerce via the WooCommerce plugin (it's not installed in this setup). So, you can add a shop on your website if you want.

Additional functionalities can also be added via other plugins.

Note that this WordPress site is not only for women just because I added a picture of a woman with the dummy name of Jane Doe. Men can use it, too, because you can change images, names, color, etc.

Everything's Already Set Up

The business or freelancing WordPress website already has everything installed, configured, and optimized:

  • WordPress;
  • Premium theme from StudioPress (save $129.95);
  • Plugins that handle security, SEO, optimization, performance, and other functionalities;
  • Design improvements.

The only thing remaining is to change several domain-specific features (e.g. titles, email) pointed out in my to-do list (details below), and to replace the dummy content with your own content.

The images are copyright-free, so you can keep using them if you wish.

Premium Theme Included for Free (Save $129.95)

For this WordPress website, I used a premium theme called Authority Pro. The theme is created by StudioPress, which is one of the best WordPress studios and the creators of the most-used framework - Genesis Framework.

The theme is optimized and focused on performance, and also has advanced support for WordPress' Gutenberg editor. In fact, the pages are created with the Gutenberg editor, not with a 3rd party page builder.

The theme also has eCommerce support, meaning that's pre-styled for the WooCommerce plugin, which will allow you to have a shop on your website, where you can sell digital, physical, and downloadable products.

WooCommerce is not currently installed in this setup, but, if you're planning to have a shop on your site, you can see how it would look like here.

Since I purchased the theme, I'm the owner of the StudioPress account. So, you won't be able to access the account.

But as long as I'm offering on-going support, and as long as you use my services, you don't need to because I'll take care of it.

Optimization, Performance, SEO, Security, and Other Functionalities

Multiple plugins are installed and configured. The plugins handle things like spam, security, performance, SEO, and more!

  • Yoast SEO - optimizes your website for search engines (e.g. Google);
  • iThemes Security - secures your WordPress website;
  • W3 Total Cache - a caching plugin that improves your site's performance/loading time;
  • WP Smush - compresses your images automatically on upload to further improve the site's performance/loading time;
  • WP User Avatar - removes the Gravatar feature from WordPress, replacing it with locally-uploaded avatars. This gets rid of the requests to Gravatar, improving your site's performance. Of course, It can be reversed by disabling the plugin;
  • WPForms Lite - a drag-and-drop form builder used for the Contact page;
  • WP Revisions Control - limits the number of revisions that WordPress saves in the database, preventing bloat;
  • Spam Destroyer - a very simple, yet very good anti-spam plugin;
  • WPFront Scroll Top - allows the visitor to easily scroll back to the top of the page;
  • Genesis eNews Extended - adds a subscription form on your site. Mailing service is required (MailChimp is recommended);
  • Genesis Blocks - a collection of handy Gutenberg (the WordPress editor) blocks;
  • Cookie Notice for GDPR - adds a cookie notice at the top or bottom of your site, letting E.U. visitors know that your site uses cookies.

Additional plugins can be added for other potentially necessary functionalities (e.g. WooCommerce for eCommerce).

Improvements and Fixes

Code modifications to:

  • center align Instagram embeds in posts;
  • add a bottom margin between columns on mobiles.

What to Do in WordPress After the Website Cloning

I've put together a to-do list that you can find by going to Media > Library from your WordPress dashboard. There, you should see a file called READ-ME.pdf. Click on it to open the attachment details, then click the Copy URL button, and then paste and open the link in a new browser tab, which will either open the pdf file directly or download it. Follow the instructions there.

Free On-going Support

I'm offering limited, on-going support for free, which includes answering questions and providing guidance.

If you have questions, need help, or didn't find the to-do list file mentioned above, don't hesitate to contact me at
