Ready-Made WordPress Feminine Blog

This is a ready-made WordPress feminine blog, not a premium demo theme.

#Everything's already set up

The blog already has everything installed, configured, and optimized:

  • WordPress;
  • Theme;
  • Plugins
  • Design.

The only thing remaining is to replace the dummy content with your own content, and I can do that for you, if you wish so, because I offer free support.

I added two categories: Fitness and Nutrition, but they are for the sake of example, it doesn't mean that the blog is only meant for those niches. It's suitable for whatever you wish: travel, fashion, lifestyle, etc.

Website Blueprint

Theme

The theme used is called Kalon, it's free, and it's developed by Rara Theme.

The theme is documented, maintained, frequently updated, and supported (even the free version).

Plugins

These are the plugins that are already installed and configured:

Yoast SEO, iThemes Security, W3 Total Cache, Spam Destroyer, WP Smush, UpdraftPlus, Elementor, Redirection, Revision Control, Social Warfare, WPForms, Envira Gallery Lite, MailChimp for WordPress, Simple Author Box.

Design Improvements

I've also performed some CSS modifications to fix some bugs and also improve the design for both desktop and mobile devices.

What to Do in WordPress After the Blog Cloning

  1. You should install the 'Password Protected' plugin and enabled it, so search engines won't crawl and index the dummy content and all the "mess" until your blog goes live. To install a plugin, go to Plugins > Add New > type its name in the search field > click Install > Activate. You can find this plugin's options in Settings > Password Protected. Enable it > check Allow Administrators > add your password.
  2. Go to Settings and change your blog's name and email address. The email address there will be used for the contact form as well.
  3. Go to Appearance > Customize and change the blog name on different sections (e.g. Footer).
  4. Go to the Yoast SEO plugin ("SEO" in your Dashboard's sidebar) and change the titles.
  5. Connect the UpdraftPlus backup plugin to Dropbox, or Google Drive, or other tools you might use and are supported there.
  6. Add your sitemap's URL in Performance > Page Cache > Cache Preload > Sitemap URL. Your sitemap is created by the Yoast SEO plugin, and its URL is https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml. Replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name.
  7. Connect the 'MailChimp for WP' plugin to a MailChimp account.

Support

Limited (questions, guidance, minor modifications) on-going support will be provided at no extra cost!
